From when Karmo tweeted his offers, it looks like Minnesota was the 7th team to offer him. That shouldn’t happen, especially for the top in state recruit. C’mon PJ!
 









He’s listed as an athlete. What’s he likely to play?
 





Why would that be weird? Exceptionally gifted athletes can come from anywhere (as in Koi Perich from Esko), and Willie Howard, who was an elite player himself before blowing out his knee, presumably knows something about running a program and developing kids.
 


A coach is a coach but a great coach develops talent. How do you turn a 5-star player into a 2-star player? by not developing him. Sadly some coaches can't develop & some players will not accept coaching.

I know it’s been a while, but Dan Johnson graduated from Cooper too. He caught a touchdown pass from Marino in one of the super bowls. 1978 Cooper grad.
 

Mike Sunvold almost 40 years ago at Cooper was recruited nationally back when that didn't happen often; he had a decent Gopher career and was drafted by Tampa but never played in the NFL.
