He'll make bank somewhere, probably wasn't a great fit for Hodgson's style (not that I watched a lot of USF last year)

I know it is a running gag around here but his wingspan really is amazing :)
Didn’t his dad post here before the bag dropped and he decommitted?

If I remember right, he seemed like a really nice guy.

There's a good debate on here about the need for a "big" or at least someone bigger than our biggest guy, but Evans (or someone like him) could play a role on the defensive end. It's hard to see how someone like that would fit into Medved's offensive structure, but if you can get 5-10 minutes out of a guy to clog up the middle, knock some people around, and alter some shots, there's value in that. Add to it the value when you are up late and can shuttle in guys to solely play defense. I'm not advocating for Evans or the Providence guy per se, but having a playable "big" on the bench would be a plus.

Him initially committing got fans excited about CBJ coaching because he was a 5 ⭐️ recruit. And as quickly as excited fans were, it was diminished that quickly when his dad broke the news he was going to Louisville. He really did seem like a good kid. He'd be a nice get for defensive purposes

Three years? The guy has to be 22 by now, right?

He was from the class of 2023. His first year (2023-24) he played at Louisville but only appeared in 7 games. He didn't play at all in 2024-25. This season he played in 25 games with Grand Canyon but only averaged 8 minutes per game. He played more towards the end of the season and wasn't bad in that stretch.

Looks like DTA has announced the priority signings for next year. Guessing Shinholster and others weighing options based on what MN has offered them.

We have 4 returners and 3 signees. The rest looks like portal action.
Willis and Vaihola not in yet?

I am not as familiar with Nolan Groves. I know he kind of blew up late. For those that are...

Would rather have:

3 Years of Kai Shinholster or 3 Years of Nolan Groves?
