All Things 2026 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

I think they'll stick with Keaschall because he can play several positions and bats right. Jenkins, ERod, Roden, and Mendez are all left handed.

And he is only 23, sophomore slumps are pretty common.
Agreed. Can't give up on Keaschall. Still think he could end up as long term 2B. Just needs a Ron Washington degree. Wash might turn him into a gold Glover as he's got the athletic ability.

Keaschall should be on the team, it just might be as a 4th OFer/utility role.

I was skeptical regarding the roster flexibility trend when it first emerged, but the value Clemens and Kreidler bring to the lineup is invaluable. His speed is also huge because he can bea 30+ steal guy a season and it’s great to have multiple ways to score.

From Hayes’ Column regarding Luke’s offensive improvement of late -

After a slow start to the season, Keaschall’s been helping out the lineup by being an on-base machine, too. He reached base three more times in four trips Wednesday, including hitting a late home run to stretch the lead back to five runs.

Dating to May 2, Keaschall is hitting .274/.382/.376 in 186 plate appearances.

The Yankees have lost 7 in a row. Now they get to play the Twins. I think we know how the movie ends....
