All Things 2025 Playoffs and Bowl Thread

Illinois' first back to back bowl wins come on a walk off FG. Both wins against the SEC 😎

Illinois made me very mad playing for that FG late ... but it did work.

IMO you keep running the ball for the TD.

Tennessee would've let them score, and now the ball is out of your hands. I like the chip shot FG for the win and not letting Tennessee get the ball back. I dare say even Denaburg would've made that kick?

Absolutely not.
Run out the clock, kick the chip shot.
Don't give Tennessee the ball back.
In fact...
If I'm Tennessee and Illinois runs it on 1st down at the 6, I let them score.

Gophers are irrelevant … this doesn’t make me feel better actually worse.. do people know the Gophers exist? Beat somebody..
The only SEC school that is worth a chit academically IMO is Vanderbilt. The SEC can take it's "means more" man-love crap and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Illinois was taking a knee anyway. Instead you run and maybe get a TD ... they were running well.

Well not sure how much this win really counts for the B10 since Illinois was the 7th place team and they beat the 8th place SEC team. Not really a fair matchup. It just means more. 😉

Texas and Florida are both quality schools.
