All Things 2025 Playoff Thread

@tikited
Well played in the city of Brotherly Shove.

Even better now they can lose to a third tier Midwestern flyover city, SeligVille🥰

I see.....A big Y. It's someone's name. Yelich. Yes, Yelich. He's striking out. Bottom of the 9th inning. Game 7. The boys in blue are celebrating.

Going to be hard to pull off as this is a best of 5 series.

While I doubt Jeter is prone to violence, it's probably wise of FOX to stick Big Papi between him and ARod on the desk.

He just looks like he wants to smack him.

What happened between the two of them?

No better way to grow the sport than to have two playoff games during the day on a weekday.
At the risk of being contrarian, I loved it yesterday.

When Division Series get extended and an inventory of 4 games, I would rather have the matinee with staggered starts instead of having some games completely doubled up.

Plus Brewers/Cubs was evening (5 pm local), so most had finished work/school by the time that started.

Granted with my schedule, it was audio only for me on the Mariners/Tigers.

As for tonight, it does not really bother me but I find it odd that Phillies/Dodgers on the West Coast is the early game (5pm here / 3 pm in LA). Maybe they want to capture the Philadelphia audience as much as possible before the Eagles play.

My issues is that some teams and their fans continue to get screwed. The Tigers have played 5 playoff games during the week and all 5 have been day games.
