All Things 2025 NFL Draft

I just flipped on sports center quickly between periods of the avs stars game (I know stupid of me to even bother).

The two anchors talked about how the NFL should be ashamed of itself, and maybe even an investigation launched, relating to Shedeur’s slide in the draft. The other guy talked about how much character Shedeur showed throughout the process.

Excuse me while I clean the vomit from my living room floor.
Showing up completely unprepared to an interview is a huge red flag. “Character”.

There’s a lot of clips from McShay about the situation that apparently his former employer just ignored. He also said the interview with the Saints went badly too. So his dad already stated there was only certain teams he’d allow his son to play for and then he essentially eliminated two of the top teams that needed a QB because of terrible interviews.

Your mistake was ever turning on the "worldwide leader" in the first place. They changed their agenda on what was important to the network quite a while ago and it's been in a death spiral ever since

Apparently Sanders was given a phone prior to the draft, and the only people that were given that phone number were NFL personnel. At some point while he was sliding, someone prank called Sanders on that phone pretending to be Saints GM Mickey Loomis, assuring him that they were taking him with their next pick.

Or a guy with 2 million instagram and 600k TikTok followers is popular?
He shouldn’t be, but he is yes.
Regardless of where he was taken, as a Heisman finalist he was maybe 1 of 4 guys I would recognize walking down the street of anyone selected in the entire Draft.

It would have been 5 if Brosmer's name had been called.

Yeah fair enough. I will never understand why he is so popular, but I do understand that he is so popular, if that makes sense.

I'm a little burned out on the "poor Shedeur" narrative going around, but it is what it is. If he humbles himself and has a successful NFL career I will be happy for him.

He has a chance to prove all his supporters in the media as right by being a very good pro. I’m not holding my breath…
