2025 NFL Draft
April 24 - 26, 2025
ESPN/NFL Network

Minnesota Vikings Picks:

#24 (1)
#97 (3) (Comp)
#139 (5) (CLE)
#187 (6) (SF)

Players most frequently mocked to the Vikings that I've seen:

CB Jahdae Barron
SS Nick Emmanwori
OG Tyler Booker
DT Derrick Harmon
DT Walter Nolan
OL Grey Zabel
CB Maxwell Hairston

As a few have mentioned in the other thread, I'd expect the Vikings to trade back if they can get a 2nd and 3rd in return for #24.

They're not at a position of need but it will be interesting if WR Tet McMillan or RB Omarion Hampton fall to the Vikings' pick. Both guys are immensely talented.

Overall, I think TE Tyler Warren is the most talented player in the Draft behind only Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter and he's every bit the prospect as Brock Bowers for a team that utilizes their TEs. My guess is the Colts at #14.

* Bleed will be adding a complete Player Analysis of every Top 250 prospect in the Draft including Combine results, college stats and their favorite food.

Vikings Mock Drafts as of 04/13/25:

Tankathon - S Nick Emmanwori

NFL.com - #24 traded to NE for #38 & #69

CBS Sports - S Malaki Starks

The Ringer - OG Donovan Jackson

Athlon Sports - S Nick Emmanwori

Yahoo Sports - CB Shavon Revel Jr.

Mel Kiper - OG Donovan Jackson

Field Yates - CB Jahdae Barron

Walter Football - DT Derrick Harmon

That's about as far as I can predict as well. Some of them, I even recognize their name, though not many.
I like the obscure players from smaller programs that are picked in rounds 4-7. Their fortitude is amazing to reach that level.

I can't help but find Sanders draft mocks interesting. He has slowly been dropping in the mock drafts but I also read a report on CBSporstline(take this for what it is worth) that said the majority of NFL GMs do not see him as a first round pick.

Even the ESPN guys that make a habit of kissing Deion's butt are downgrading him. A few are now even saying Dart is a better pro prospect. I'd still be surprised if he gets past NO at 9 considering Carr's shoulder injury that threatens his season.

He could definitely go there. If he drops way down, I know we will hear that it is the Deion factor that NFL teams don't want to deal with it, but I think it is more about average arm strength and not being an elite athlete. It isn't a huge sample size but his book of work against good teams is pretty weak. He piled up numbers against bad teams and did so with 1 elite WR and others who were very good.

I kind of feel that he is a poor man's Caleb Williams and I am not saying that as a compliment. Williams had struggles last year because he was used to hitting wide open WR in college and in the pros just holds the ball because he thinks no one is "open." I think Shadeur will do the same and will not have the physical skills that Caleb does to fall back on. Just my amateur opinion of course...

Good post. I can't find the source right now but I read that close to 30% of all his passing yards and TDs came late in games when they were already up by 21 points or more.

Love him or hate him, Deion did a great job of doing everything possible to boost his kid's draft stock.

Both Williams and Sanders have a very, very bad habit of holding the ball just way too damn long. That is not something that is easy to train out of someone.

I'm not 100% sold on Williams being what everyone said he was prior to last year's draft, but holy shit, the Bears have allocated every possible resource into helping him be successful, to the detriment of the rest of the roster.

This Bears FO is f'ng clueless, and they know their jobs hinge on Williams making them look good. If Jeanty slips in the draft, they could even add him. The defense will be dogshit, especially after Eberflus left, but at least they'll die making Williams look serviceable.

You know what I'm hoping plays out and I'm a bit surprised that no pundit (to by knowledge) has floated the idea, but given the relationship between Jerry Jones and Deion Sanders, given the hype and media attention it would garner, given that Dak Prescott is in his 30's and coming off of injury, I would love for Shedeur Sanders to be the pick (if he lasts to #12). It would be an absolute zoo in Dallas, with speculation about Prescott's job, Brian Schottenheimer already being on the clock with Deion in the wings, all while the 'Boys continue to be mired in mediocrity would be wonderful. The most talked about 5-11 team in NFL history.
