What a choke job by UConn.
they were lucky to even be in this spot. don't know if its a choke so much as they just don't have the iso offense to try play a run the shot clock to 10 every single possession against a good defense.

Illinois has forgotten how to play defense and the feeble passing...wow

Well Maryland isn't going to speed things up for us...

Anyone know who the snarky 3rd wheel is announcing with Harlan on the Kentucky/illinois game?

I kind of like him.

Niko's CSU really impressive again. Their offense is so crisp. Always seems like everyone is on the same page and there's a plan there. Defense is trying to make it hard for Maryland to get the ball to Queen, bc CSU has no answer for him when he does get it.

This is a fun, fun game!

How is Maryland getting outscored in the paint? Shouldn't be possible.

New Mexico about to get past round 2. I am convinced that the biggest problem with the program is the school. Our coaches have had their faults but reality is, the school does not get enough support for the program. I remember hearing an interview with Tubby Smith about how shocked he was at the facilities and resources at the U.

Our program support is absolutely subpar and it kills us. We can't recruit, we can't maintain, we can't build anything. The powers that be need to get to work and build up support around Gophers basketball, we are bush league.

Tubby thought the practice facility was an issue and it was. It's not anymore. I don't think The Barn effects recruits. It's a revenue/fan base issue but not a recruiting issue. They do need more NIL, but so do about 75% of programs. Hopefully they make progress with revenue sharing and a competent coach.

The facility at the time was just symptom of the bigger issue. I am talking about our support all around, and not as much from fans, donors, money, investment. All of that matters, The Timberwolves have had similar issues, bush league. There are different levels of prestige and approach and we are at the bottom.

OK. Everything sucks and we'll always be terrible then?
