All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

To paraphrase “Casablanca”: “we’ll always have the Rashad & Diggs miracle touchdowns”. Amazingly, the Browns pain for the season only deepened when Brian Sipe threw, in the divisional playoff round, the end zone interception against the Raiders when Cleveland was in position to kick a game winning field goal.

Minneapolis miracle….pa loses his mind when someone says Minnesota miracle.

Meatsauce says everyone is a friend in his ads. It as though George died and his spirit went right into meatstupid.

Vegas suggests you should sleep in or head over for one last roll of the dice at the local farmers market on Sunday morning. The MIN-CLE over-under is currently at 36.5 which is the lowest for any NFL game in 2025.

I think Dallas Turner is only going to get better and better and better. Reminder, Turner is 22 yrs old, Verse and Latu are 24 yrs old

Most recent injury report I saw has both Ryan Kelly (shocker) and Michael Jurgens listed as OUT. The only saving grace for the Vikings is that Myles Garrett appears to be a little banged up, listed as Questionable.

Vikings: 13-6 winners!

game where you don't plan to try do "too much". Let Gabriel and Stefanski be the ones to make mistakes and be timely. Winning 10-6 counts just the same as 31-6

Well...Garrett has been cleared to play Sunday. No man that big ever passes up a free meal.

Brandel at C is a terrible idea. I have no idea who Henry Byrd is, but he was the #2 center in the Atlanta game, so I'm not sure you don't start him since Brandel's never played C in his life.

In more shocking, not shocking news.... Ryan Kelly going to IR, so he has to be out at least 4 weeks. I don't know if the status of Jurgens (or how Brandel plays tomorrow in London) makes much of a difference towards whether or not the Vikings try to trade for someone at the Center position?

Vikings also waive Desmond Ridder, the only other QB other than Wentz and Brosmer. Good. Ridder is a dumpster fire, hard to see any scenario where they would have put him on the field.

So only two QBs tomorrow against the Browns. Watch your back, Wentz

Roster Moves, Per Heavy -

Ridder’s cut and the following roster moves have been made to thwart Myles Garrett.

Starting the season on injured reserve, Vikings Pro Bowl fullback C.J. Ham appears poised to make his debut against the Browns. Ham was activated to the 53-man roster on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Vikings added guards Vershon Lee and Henry Byrd to the active roster for Week 5, along with running back Cam Akers, who was elevated from the practice squad.

Lee and Byrd will help shore up a depleted offensive line room that has four linemen ruled out for Sunday. The Vikings will be without starting right tackle Brian O’Neill(knee), left guard Donovan Jackson (wrist) and center Ryan Kelly (concussion). Backup center Michael Jurgens (hamstring) was also ruled out, thrusting Blake Brandel into his first-ever start at center.

Our two free agent DT pick ups are just there to get paid it appears.
