All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

I don't love giving up the 4th for him at all, but so be it. A JJ-Addison-Thielen trio with Hockenson at TE could be pretty lethal when Addison is back though. JJM couldn't ask for a much better situation to step into.

A little further explanation on the conditional nature of the 2025 7th round pick the Vikings are getting from Carolina, related to Thielen's overall health, but more specifically the concern over the hamstring injury that Thielen had last season; injuries which can most definitely linger.

>>These are two of the reasons the Vikings sought to add conditions to the seventh-round pick for 2025. If Thielen isn’t active for 10 games, or if he isn’t on the 53-man roster for 14 games, the Vikings’ pick will become a sixth-rounder."

An awful lot to give up and a lot of cash for a LB/Edge Rusher.

Good luck to them.

They sent an impact DL and two 1st rounders, AND had to sign that massive contract. Granted, the two 1st rounders are likely to be later in the 1st, that's still a lot.

How do they stop the run?
