All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Well, apparently Lee has more range at shortstop than Correa right now.

According to Judd Zulgad, Correa is really struggling with his lack of ability to move well. Hence Houston moving him to third base.
I think Judd missed this one.

When Carlos was a FA in 2021 the Astros made him a low ball offer as they had Jeremy Pena to play SS and were confident in his abilities - he’s been a GG, AS and SS for their last WS team in fis first 4 seasons.

Specially the Astros were interested in Correra as their regular third baseman, Issac Paredes is done for the year, apparently.

Walked off by Cleveland again. Lots of personnel change, same result.

Crowd in Philly went wild for Duran and his entrance as he came in to lock down a 4-pitch save. Baseball will be fun again, but today is not that day.

Running across a youtube short of his entrance in Philly was a nice kick in the balls
It's awesome and it's the kind of spectacle baseball needs more of. He's far from the greatest closer in Twins history, but he brought flair and excitement. Philly's prick fan base doesn't really deserve that kind of fun

Apparently #59 was unavailable when Duran joined the Phillies. It was already in use by the manager, who gave it up. Never really understood why baseball insists on making coaches wear numbers anyway.

The skippers could always go the Connie Mack route and wear a 3 piece suit.

Managers who go with that attire are not allowed on the field of play though to go discus umpiring performance nor the mound for pitching changes. Must be in uniform for those actions.

I would venture to guess most though are not even wearing a jersey in under their hoodies, pullovers etc.

Royce Lewis pops one up in fair territory with runners on the corners. Just stands in the box. Wallner is standing on first base motioning for him to run it out. This organization refuses to acknowledge the players don't respect or fear the manager.

Good god. who bright idea was it to start the Braves/Reds game with the infield so bad. Horrible decison on MLB part.
