The only Twins in the top 10 for votes at any position are Castro at 2B (7th) and Buxton at 10th. He's 2.1 million votes behind Judge. Almost 900K behind #2, Riley Greene.
You can make a case for Greene and Kwan being ahead of Buxton but no way guys like Bellinger, Baez, Trout and Carpenter should be ahead of him. George Springer might be the biggest joke of them all.
Give it time. At this rate, there's going to be plenty of roster spots on the big club unless there's a drastic shift in the next month. France, Bader, Castro, Paddack, Columbe are all likely getting traded. Maybe Vazquez if some team has a few million $ just to piss away.
Yeah I included Kwan because of his defense. He's probably above some of those other guys like Bellinger and Carpenter IMO.
I would think the Twins would likely be more than willing to eat some/most or even all of Vazquez's contract to get even a marginal prospect at this point.
