All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

Yeah (1/30th after overhead and a small slice to the league office) but that's not the point.

If those that bought the MLB package (or get freebie via T-Mobile) included games in the local market, then an entity such such as MSN-FSN-BSN-FanDuel's broadcast-streaming rights would be undercut.

In current day far fewer would sign up for the Twins.TV streaming package $99 for the season.
Get it. Just seems like people who pay $150 a season for mlb.com shouldn't also have to pay $99 to see their local team. Guess that's the way it is but doesn't seem right.
I'm lucky in that I don't live in Twins market so I can see all Twins games free via t-mobile.

I agree.

I guess it's "progress" though that it's actually an option to pony up the additional $99 to get Twins "In Market" games. Prior to this year, even if you wanted to hand over additional funds it was not possible. The only (non-pirate) method was to somehow subscribe to BSN-FanDuelNorth.

Still waiting on the announcement "sometime today" that most of the Twins beat writers seem confident of for a wider cable/streaming announcement.
But they were able to secure a primary sponsor for the broadcasts: Progressive Insurance. Great news for those of you who get all riled up when they see a Progressive TV commercial.

Can't even schedule a DVR of the game tomorrow. Don't know what channel it's on. Just ridiculous.

So you predictions for this season. I have the Twins at 83 wins. I don't have them winning the division or making the playoffs.

Must be waiting for the 10 PM News broadcasts.

This channel finder is handy (if it's right). It claims they will be on DirecTV on Channel 668 which is/has always been FanDuel/Bally's/Fox Sports North. Not that this will confuse anyone.

They are also apparently on Comcast/Midco, and Fubo. No dice for YouTube TV or Hulu.

The finder for me says Spectrum 468 for the Twins, but my On Screen Video Guide says 428. 🤔

Lists a pregame show at 1:30 with the game at 2pm.

3:15 pm central start.

That's not very reassuring for my attempt to DVR. I checked again. Video Guide says 2pm.

Every other source agrees with the 3:15 pm first pitch.

Or you could just give the Pohlad's $99...It's almost like that's the goal...

This is actually what pops on the screen when I plug in 428, which is encouraging.

I'm just going to stare at the tube for 16-17 hours and see what happens.

I'll save the $99 bucks and spend it at Target Field. Should be enough for a bratwurst and a couple of beers. Maybe just enough extra for Cracker Jack.

DirecTV still says channel 668. 668 is still FanDuel. 668-1 and 668-2 are blank. 668-3 doesn't exist. The MLB Extra Innings channel shows up though. I guess I'll just record them all and see if it shows up on one. Thanks for making it clear MLB/DirecTV.

With a deal reached just hours ago, it sounds like the Twins will be on 668-3 this year for direct

I'm in!

The game is now listed on 668 - 3

Weather not looking good this afternoon so wouldn't be surprised if they push the game back to tomorrow.

This truck caravan is never ending.

Geez!
