Get it. Just seems like people who pay $150 a season for mlb.com shouldn't also have to pay $99 to see their local team. Guess that's the way it is but doesn't seem right.Yeah (1/30th after overhead and a small slice to the league office) but that's not the point.
If those that bought the MLB package (or get freebie via T-Mobile) included games in the local market, then an entity such such as MSN-FSN-BSN-FanDuel's broadcast-streaming rights would be undercut.
In current day far fewer would sign up for the Twins.TV streaming package $99 for the season.
I'm lucky in that I don't live in Twins market so I can see all Twins games free via t-mobile.
