Boys looked a bit gassed tonight but still managed a point. They were down one goal 4 times and came back to tie each time. 8 points in a possible 10 on this roadie is not to shabby. Kings again Monday before they head to Seattle Thursday to end the road trip

They didn't seem to have the shoot-early-and-often mentality yesterday that they had vs Anaheim. Not sure why.
 

That Hughes pass to EEK for the breakaway goal was something special as was the KK-Yurov-Faber goal.

It's a game they should've won but you can't argue with eight (8) points out of a possible 10 for that road trip.
 

Boys need some home cooking. LA got them again after getting them Saturday in a shootout. One more in Seattle then back home finally
 

Wild with the OT win over Seattle. Now finally back home on Saturday.

Hughes is elite. He gets so many shots on goal - 8 tonight. He can't seem to get one to go, but they will come, either straight up, on a tip or rebound. You can't get that many pucks on net without them going in.

Wild dominated the third period and just couldn't light the lamp. OT winner was the second five hole of the game on Gus. 😕

The better team doesn’t always win and that was the case last night. Yurov himself had what 4 grade A chances and none went in. The effort was the there but obviously not the result
 





Any new rumors about the Wild pursuing another Top 6 forward?
 

Come on boys. You are playing a team that played last night, are on a 4 game losing streak, and have been outscored 20 to 5 in those games. Oh and you’re at home

 

Looking like the usual January slump could be sneaking up on this team. Down 2-1 after 2
 


I have only myself to blame for buying into them. That pathetic back check from the top line on the 3rd goal was something.

I’ll never buy into them until they actually get a Cup. It’s Minnesota sports after all. I’ll still watch and go to a game here and there but always keeping my expectations low
 


Again. What the hell was that? Is JEEK this important that the team can’t function without him. The Russian better figure out how to play hockey again too.
 




If offensive too expensive at the deadline, a C that excels on defense like JEEK would be a really nice consolation prize.

Probably still expensive but hopefully mitigate damage if/when JEEK is out.
 


It sounds like the NY Rangers could be having a fire sale before too long. The weeks between now and the NHL trade deadline could be adventurous to say the least.
