Liam Ohgren scores his first goal of the year for Vancouver. So far, the trade is working out pretty well for both teams it would appear.

So far Vancouver's put Marco Rossi as 1st line Center, Buium as second pair D-man but quarterbacking PP1, and Ohgren as a winger on the 4th line
 

Wild getting 2 goals from Tarasenko tonight and one from Kaprizov so far and lead 3-0 over the Caps. Gus holding the fort between the pipes. 12 minutes to go
 






Quinn Hughes got his 1st assist as a member of the Wild, but his effect on the team's ability to break out of the zone has been pretty dramatic. Brock Faber seems to have found another gear since Hughes has arrived as well. Force multiplier.
 




Earlier this year, this kind of game (playing a team that is last or near last), has been a problem for the Wild.
I actually believe the Columbus Blue Jackets should be better than their standings show, however, the bottom line is, they are tied with Buffalo for fewest points in the East, and this is something Minnesota, if they are to be taken seriously, just need to handle

Since November 1st, the Wild have gone 17-3-2 for 36 points. During that same timeframe, they've only gained one (1) point on DAL (16-4-3) and actually lost a point to COL (17-1-3).

That's crazy stuff.

Imagine being an Oilers fan and having to endure the worst kind of dumpster fire Goalie situation imaginable, really for a few years now. Holy crap...

Knowing you have to score 4-6 goals to win every night. Good grief. I guess they rode it to the SC Final the last couple years but this is a different team, that's for sure
