Way to go with optimism! If we're being positive the hope is little news means they are confident in the ones they are reaching out to and focusing on.

Tulsa certainly one that would be hard to figure. Crap program.he should stay… not a great list
Good for him. I think Betts is going to be a solid player there. I wouldn't be surprised if he scores 10 a game next year.Betts to Montana.
Why is St Thomas even in the GH, tells you all you need to know about the state of the program doesn’t itWhy is St Thomas combined???
Don't necessarily have to be P4 guys, dominant smaller school guys have been great for us as well. Look at Hawkins, Battle, Cooper, Robbins to name a few. Point being just because they aren't P4 doesn't mean they're bargin bin. That said, certainly would expect at least some P4 guys with the roster slots we have available. Lot of time left, lot's of guys in the portal, things have barely even started to move.I sure hope the players they reach out to improves. I'm trying to stay positive but I'm not expecting to go to the thrift store for our starting five. How about some decent P4 players.
Not sure he’d have been a fit or need. Tommies need rebounding & rim protection, not real sure Betts would provide that. They need a banger.I was hoping Betts would go to St.Thomas, St.Thomas needs to take our scraps like they almost did with Jarvis Omersa
and mash.They need a banger.
Jaylen Crocker-Johnson (Colorado State) to Gophers.
With Blue likely gone, I think the Tommies go from the clear Summit League favorite to now just one of many teams that MIGHT still have enough left to earn the auto bid. The only saving grace is pretty much every team in the Summit League has lost its best potential returning players to free agency. Unfortunately, that's how things are going to be in the mid- to low-major conferences until the NCAA (if they ever do) cleans up some things with regards to unlimited, no-sit-out transfer & highest bidder madness.Wow, if he didn't leave last year didn't think he would leave as they are finally tourney eligible. Really stings he didn't want to see this thing through, maybe Tauer gets some donors to price match and he stays. If not then come on Niko!
The one I feared the most as a St. Thomas fan has happened. ... stud guard Kendall Blue has declared for free agency. That's a killer for the Tommies, if both he and Miles Barnstable exit the program.
Unlike Barnstable, Blue should have a lot of suitors from the major-conference programs. A 6-6 ambidextrous guard who can do a little bit of everything. Hoping like heck he sticks around at UST, but that's really wishful thinking. If Niko is not interested in Blue, he should be.
This one stings.
This would never fly. But, you could do a second tier D1 like football does. The system now so stacked against small and mid majors. Got to be discouraging for coaches and fans of those programs.
I've posted this before and got shot down hard, but I would like to see the tournament format changed.
32 power conference in one bracket and 32 small/mid schools in the other.
Play two rounds.
Now 8 teams left in each bracket. Then cross match the two brackets and play it out from there.
This would allow 8 small/mid schools to make the sweet 16 every year. Also would be great intrigue to see if any of the big schools get knocked off in the sweet 16 games.
The large majority of teams are small/mid. A lot has been taken away from them, this format would give a little back.

Any of the freshmen that redshirted this year (Franks) have a chance to be instant impact guys? Or an incoming freshmen? They will be able to replace one of them… they found Raheem Anthony at D3 then Barnstable at D3…. They got a couple D3 guys who will be interested… replacing both a little tougher but I can see Minnesale expanding.. people were worried about point guard when Anders Nelson left Rohde too ok over than left then Dobbs…
Should be interesting they were the favorites now back to the pack I agree… One good thing you have a coach who runs a great offensive system and finds players who fit well in that system…
The only incoming freshman at this point is Luka Momcillovic, who has some pedigree as the younger brother of Milan who plays for Iowa State.Any of the freshman that redshirted this year (Franks) have a chance to be instant impact guys? Or an incoming freshman?
