All Things 2025/26 College Football Transfer Portal Thread

It’s called the transfer portal. I believe all have to go through portal.
They don’t.
To be eligible they have to be enrolled

They don’t have to enter to unenroll and re-enroll somewhere else

There is no “spring portal” but I bet you a lot of money people will change schools after spring ball anyways

There has to be legal ramifications for Washington to pursue. These kids want to get paid and treated like professionals.....then they need to understand the ramifications of contracts and breaking them and there has to be consequences. I obviously don't know what was exactly in this contracts or how NIL contracts are even fully devised but I would assume these schools would have clauses....if not what are they even doing!

I mean it will just be monetary which means players will do what coaches do and have the money they owe written into the new deal.

Man this sure does sound like college sports!

Maybe the buyout clause is enforceable? The billable hours are undefeated.

OTOH UGA is trying to enforce an NIL contract that didn’t even exist yet. They had a signed terms sheet only (public record), decided to be asses to the kid. Karmic justice in devastating playoff defeat? Maybe.

So who knows on the reality of the situation, but it’s fun to watch.

I would have to think that there's some kind of breach of contract clause. Why wouldn't that be included?

Why is WI so high? I thought they lost some key players?
