All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

That fricking fall Wemby took yesterday does not bode well for the Spurs. In concussion protocol.

Detroit looking to right itself tonight against Orlando. That’s a nasty playoff losing streak at home they have going on.

Pistons 14 of 24 on free throws yesterday and the Magic 26 of 80 on FG
Rough game to watch.

Celtics and 76ers tonight. Could be a good one.
Have a hard time believing Wemby will have passed concussion protocol for Spurs at Portland tonight.

Boston at Philly is turning into a good one.
Boston wins it. Maxey with 31 attempts!
Geeze. 28 last game.

Epic choke by Houston. Just incredible how stupid they were. I'm actually hoping the Lakers pull it out in OT.

just watched it back and wow.......
up 101-95 and with the ball with 34 seconds left. turnover, foul a 3 point shot from a bad 3 point shooter, turnover and give up another 3 for a tie game. then take your shot too early and almost give up the game winning 3 as time expires lol.

Sources: Joe Ingles plans to join Melbourne United following NBA playoffs

Joe Ingles -- a five-time Olympian and 12-year NBA veteran -- plans to join Melbourne United ahead of the 2026-27 NBL season, multiple sources told ESPN

Missed the 1st half. Detroit in trouble in this game with Orlando.
Detroit's comeback falls short.

Can't get myself interested in watching Suns/Thunder.

Wtf are they doing? One drive to the basket so far. Take it at them!!

Absolutely lazy effort by half the team. Lucky to only be down 3.

Incredible only down 4 with no Donte, losing Ant, McDaniel taking himself out of the game and Randle not giving a shit.

This is one of the great timberwolves wins in history.

Yet I feel sad because of DDV and Ant

Just damn

Full disclosure, loved the Ayo trade, under the premise he was a 3 and D guy. He's been so much more. This guy is Bobby Jackson going from WNCC to the Big Ten.

Denver is soft, very soft. The Wolves are a much better team. Only the injuries could prevent the Wolves from winning this series.

McDaniels is in their heads.

“Ayo was just out of this world, man,” Timberwolves coach Chris Finch said. “Just play after play after play."

“He goes places quick. He’s an unbelievable finisher. He makes big shots,” Finch said. “He’s not afraid. Just was going to ride him until he collapsed, really.”

It was the best performance by a sub since Fred Brown scored 45 off the bench for Seattle in a 116-111 loss to Phoenix on April 15, 1976.

Quite the game by Ayo and others.
