The season is upon us.

Hope springs eternal.

This is our year.

Howl Wolves!!

Based on the highlight package of the first preseason game, it's time to plan the parade!!

Tonight's(10\07) scheduled Indiana @ Twolves broadcast on FanDuel North 7p(CDT)...replay @ 11p (CDT)

Man oh man is Dillingham brutal. I thought his shot was broken last year, but it looks worse now.

Dilly makes Jordan McLaughlin look like prime Derrick Rose. I just don't see how this kid ever develops into more than a career backup PG in this league at best.

Our point guard play is embarrassing.

They did absolutely nothing this off season to fix it.

I thought I heard they changed his shot halfway through last year? I'm not understanding how that makes sense.

How does someone who as an 18 year old, who averaged 15 ppg off the bench in only 23 mpg at Kentucky, shooting 44% from 3, but now he can't shoot? His shooting numbers in college were significantly better than Ant's were in the same conference.

College is easier.

College is easier.

Stunning analysis.

The leap isn't that big when you're putting up great shooting and scoring numbers in one of the toughest college conferences as an 18 year old.

We're not talking about Ricky Rubio who we knew couldn't shoot when he was drafted.

"Stunning analysis."
Lol.

I don't know what they did with his shot. All I know is that his form is really bad. His shot is almost like a launch. His whole body moves forward instead of being stationary. It might have been the same in college, but I'm not sure. If it were, it might be mental.

Rubio rant: He never developed a floater. Lazy imo.

They played some team I've never heard of last night.

Dillingham did play well, but the team they played is terrible.

Some of the greatest shooters has their body move forward

Anthony Edwards GTD?
Heard DD is starting and Conley coming off the bench.

@ChrisBHaynes - Sources: Minnesota Timberwolves will award Donte DiVincenzo the starting point guard spot to open the 2025-26 NBA season. Mike Conley will remain a vital piece. More on The Association on

Anthony Edwards GTD?
He had back spasms but apparently has been working out normally for the past 3-4 days. He'll play.

This is concerning when you consider the Turnover Rate for both DDV and Ant when playing the lead guard in our offense. We seem to be trying to plug a hole at PG by creating holes elsewhere.

Looked awful for long spurts. The PG elephant in the room had explosive diarrhea all over the floor, walls and ceiling.

But this Edwards kid might be OK.

At some point the wolves are going to have to trade some of their depth for a pg. The answer isn't DDV, Ant, Conley or Dilly.
Yep, this is kind of what scared me this offseason. Finch, who I like, made it abundantly clear he doesn't care about a true PG. Like he isn't against the idea, but I don't think he has any problem rolling with a backcourt of any combo of DDV, Ant, Shannon, Clark for significant minutes.

I don't mind it for some minutes, but I don't like not having a true PG in the rotation who can play significant amounts.
