All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Rockets and Lakers get the W
OKC, SA, LA and Denver all humming along pretty good.
Rockets, Nuggets and Spurs in action tonight. Houston at home (Bucks) and Denver on the road (Jazz).

Early start tonight. 6:00 (which will be around 6:10 or so, possibly later for Edwards)

Lakers got thumped by OKC. Doncic left the game with a hamstring injury, getting an MRI.
Sounds like it could be a 4-6 week recovery time if the MRI confirms their initial diagnosis.

I'm not a Luka fan by any stretch but he's been the best player in the league for the last month or so including Wemby.

Well, tonight in Philly.
Looks like Embid is GTD
At least it’s another early game. 6 o’clock start.

At this point I think you just settle for the 6th seed and maximize health
Actually might not be a bad idea to sit Reid for a couple of games. He always seems banged up.
Looks like Lakers or Nuggets.
Lakers have one more game with OKC
Nuggets have two more with SA and one with OKC
As Slim said, see what happens with the Doncic injury.

Totally agree on Reid. Him ant and Jaden can all sit until the last game, play 20 mins and get some rust off

“I’m dealing with some injuries and just trying to make things happen,” Reid told The Athletic after the 113-108 loss to Detroit. “Just trying to compete at a high level and do what I can do.”

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic is out indefinitely due to a left hamstring injury, sources tell ESPN. He will miss the remainder of the regular season and his status is uncertain beyond that.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left oblique muscle injury and is out for the remainder of the regular season.

The Nuggets remaining schedule is just brutal though while LA plays tanking teams. It should be interesting.
After beating SA, the Nuggets will absolutely catch LA who plays OKC in 2 days (who needs to win a couple more to clinch the 1).

The SA game at the end of the year will be meaningless now to SA as will likely the one on 4/10 vs OKC. Decent chance Denver hits the postseason on a 12 game win streak

That would be a tough road to the Finals for DEN theoretically having to go through MIN, SAS and then OKC.
