All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Except this won't be an issue when the playoffs start
The games against MIL and MEM will show us what we'll bring to the table in the Playoffs. The game against the Grizzlies is almost a "must" win.

We really need to control our own destiny to avoid the Play-in going into our last two (2) games at home. The fans would be electric.

Obviously we want to avoid the play-in game, but would the 7 seed be the worst thing in the world? Houston has been playing well lately but they are young and we split in the regular season against them. But I'm not concerned about the Wolves getting up for and winning a play-in game.

The Wolves can beat anyone in the west in a playoff series. They split or have a winning record against every playoff team except Golden State and Memphis.

A 1st round matchup against Golden State or Denver, despite our sweep of Denver, still concerns me more than a matchup against Houston or the other teams bottled up in the standings.

All of this is true but if we have two (2) poor shooting games, you never see a 7-game series.

I'm with you, though... we're capable of beating anyone in the West.

I think we are going to have huge trouble scoring in the playoffs

Lakers at OKC today
Pacers visit the Nuggets tonight
Rockets at Warriors

Edwards is 6 points away from the most points in a season for the Wolves

The only way a team loses that we want to lose is if they play head to head.

It's just unreal.

Denver loses and we are now tied in the loss column with them.

Thank you, Indiana!

Yep,

5 teams with 32 losses..........memphis, clippers, Denver, warriors, and us.

Tonight couldn't have worked out better.
And we dropped back down to the #7 Seed. Craziness happening in the West...even the 1st Round matchups should be incredible.

THREE points from Curry tonight in 33 minutes. Didn’t watch it, just looked at the box score.
His only bucket was a pre half time heave from about 40. The rockets have the guards with length to storm him and it worked to perfection as the rest of the warriors were awful despite being open

Denver has lost 4 in a row......and they still have Memphis and Houston.
Problem with Houston now is their games are meaningless after they win one more game as they’ll be locked as the 2
