All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Dillingham was fantastic in this game. The ball moves with him and he can dribble penetrate, also.

This leads to offense. I was very disappointed he was not allowed to finish this game.

His defense is getting better, also.

This team is beyond frustrating to watch
What kills them is lack of offense.

Today, the looks were awesome from 3.

Julius was 0 for 7

McDaniels was 1-6

Conley was 1-4

The guy playing like complete ass since January started is NAW. He was 1-5

Until they get a shooter at one of these spots.......we are screwed. This is why ANT continues to be swarmed.

Finch pulling Dilly instead of NAW towards the end of the game was inexcusable.

This team is a disaster have to blow it up. Conley is a corpse, pulling DIlly for him is hilarious. Gobert is a liability.

Ant is the teams only hope down the stretch. And Ill keep saying it he's just simply not built to be the guy at this point in his career. Special talent but he's not clutch.

No one on the floor can dribble and create outside of ANT at the end of games. I don't really hold it against him too much.

If Dillingham develops, that will change.

Dillingham needed to play down the stretch today inexcusable he didnt

No Devo. He was playing well. Let him develop.

I think we will see more of Dillingham, even though he doesn't have a clue on defense. He can create his own shot. Finch has no choice at this point.

Dillingham needs to play more, and I think Terrance Shannon Jr needs to play when he returns from injury as well. Both of those guys know how to score.

They need to figure out how to trade Randle and get another wing who can score. I like his effort, but I doubt NAW will be back next year.

ESPN listing Dante out until March 7
Many think that kind of injury is going to be for the rest of the year.

He can't run or workout so even if it is until March 7.......well, that sucks.

I wish the wolves would just be realistic and play for the future.

That stinks about DDV. He was averaging 19 points a game since becoming a starter and pushing Conley to the bench. This should mean more time for Dilly to play and develop which is about the only positive.

The future is now, unfortunately. Ant is 23 and in his fifth season. He won't get any more explosive athletically than he is today. We also have no draft capital until 2032 for trades or Cap Space to add Free Agents.

It won't surprise me to see Connelly walk away from the mess he created. This is the last year of his current contract after declining an extension last summer.

Connelly made one excellent deal. The rest has been problematic.

They did every possible thing they could do to throw away the game tonight against the Dallas B team.

And of course, as we beg for Dillingham, he was bad and Conley has his best game of the year.

It never gets old watching Kyrie light us up like a Christmas tree every single time we play.

McDaniels playing better is a plus.

Ant at 23 means the future is now?

His prime will be 26, 27 and 28.

Not sure what you mean.

He was our best player by far when he got hot recently. This sucks.
