Go Gophers!!

Need to get this thread updated:

Central Michigan's HC chimes in:

Go Gophers!!

There are 4 FBS schools that are the Owls (Rice, FAU, Temple and Kennesaw St). All 4 fired their football coaches midseason.

Couple things.

One, it's interesting how that's two coaches now who leveraged success at Houston to get jobs at bigger Texas teams and then falling off. Kevin Sumlin, Houston to Texas A&M, then Tom Herman Houston to Texas. Both fell off there and then couldn't replicate the success at their next job.

Also, I have to wonder if UMass drops back down to FCS. They haven't had a winning season since they were in the FCS, and that was a 6-5 campaign in 2010. Their next best season was the next year at 5-6. Since then, their high mark was back-to-back 4-8 records. They've had five 1 win seasons.
