Even if they are doing ok, they really need to dump Prince for anything. He is worthless. I like Okogie but he's worthless as well. Same for Layman and Newell. Get anything you can.

Agree with everything except the last sentence. That seems to have been the Wolves M.O. for a long time now. Culminating in Thibs fanatical "get rid of everybody but Jimmy Butler! I don't care who I get for them!"
And they didn't get much in return. Even looking at the trade that sent Butler to Philly. Got a couple of decent players but looking at how they were used here and how quickly they were traded away? Gees. Same with most of the trades since Thibs was sent packing.
You certainly know that it's way easier to find Timberwolves trades that didn't work out then ones that did. The absolute worst was the ones made when they thought they had to trade someone away no matter what.
Nope would suggest that unless a player is a cancer on the team keep him. Unless they can get a deal of equal or better yet, more value. Then please make the trade.
Right now they have to try and convince Edwards, Towns and Russell that if the 3's aren't falling they need to take the ball to the hoop. The tough part will be convincing them that if they are fouled they'll at least get free throws out of it
Monday night's first 3 Quarters at least, told them otherwise.

I'm not sure why they don't give Nowell bigger run. He's a tough kid who is versatile.

They got it up to 49-29 right after this before allowing the Clippers the next 12 points. End up 57-47 at half. Now down by five as they've been outscored 19-4 in the third quarter. That's nine minutes into the quarter. Four points.

KAT is a good player and of course he want's out.
The shit he is surrounded by each and every year is quite astonishing.
Every time he touches the ball, it is an instant double team and no one on this roster can make the other team pay. He was just being honest.
This team is so weak physically, it's an embarrassment.
They can't shoot, are physically outmanned ever single night, and have a losing culture. Other than that, things are looking up. LMAO

Yeah KAT is a 25 year old man in his 7th season of basketball as a former #1 pick. While some of it may be poor team building he better look himself in the mirror. His disappearing act in the second half against Denver cost them the game.
It also doesn’t help that he complains and whines to the refs every time he thinks he’s fouled or when he fouls someone.
He hasn't said a thing in 3 straight games..........0-3
He got 11 shots tonight and put up 20 points. That was after getting doubled on every single play he got the ball. He has shit all around him.
Shocking stat, almost frightening: Jayden McDaniels, who starts most all games as the person to play big next to Towns is averaging 4 points per game, and 4 rebounds per game.
And the real kick in the nuts...........he hasn't shot one free throw all year.
They have to trade for even a warm body, big. McDaniels is a stick man out there. He should be in G league.

What a crazy game between Minnesota/Memphis. KARL ANTHONY TOWNS bank in a 3 pointer to tied the game at the buzzer. We going to OT.
Up 16 with 7 minutes to go and a complete choke job. Just fucking pathetic.

You should try meditation or something. You aren't going to make it to Thanksgiving. We are only five and a half or so months awway from the Timberwolves' real season opener. You can look forward to that.
I watched most of the second half last night. When DLo start hitting 3's, unless it's in the last two minutes, it's always fools gold. We know the pattern. Late in the game, when the defense tightens up, he can't direct the offense, makes sloppy passes and dribbles late into the possession. A disaster souffle. DLo, KAT and Ant can get by on their individual skills early in games but the lack of ball movement kills them when it counts.
I honestly thought Rosas had assembled enough talent, depth and composure, with a higher caliber coach now in place, to achieve a 7th or 8th seed this year. Even without a real power forward. This team remains too fragile and too incomplete to handle any serious pressure. My outlook was obviously wrong.
At this point in time, the overriding concern is each season that goes by without the success on the court that builds fan interest, is a step in the wrong direction for keeping the team in this market.

Morant tried to end things with seven points in the final 56.3 seconds of regulation. His two free throws with 2.5 seconds left should've capped a win after the Grizzlies trailed by 16 points in the fourth quarter.

The Wolves need to get their permanent GM in place.
When that happens, the GM needs to trade away DLO and Towns. Build around Ant.

Unload DLO's awful contract. McDaniels is a stick figure and offers little. Two first round picks mean little.
