Neptune only coached there one year, took over after they fired Neubauer and finished the season off with an interim. He was at Villanova from 2013 to 2021, so kind of staying in house.

Good time to get out. The game is getting legally dirtier, and by all accounts, Wright isn't that kind of guy. He has a great and non stressful future in the TV studio.

On the local DIII level, Carleton's Guy Kalland retired in early April following 38 seasons with the Knights and reaching his 500 victory. Overall record was 506-439. St Olaf's Dan Kosmoski now becomes the Dean of Northfield Men's Basketball Coaches as he enters his 29th season with the Oles.

Top Assistant Ryan Kershsaw has been named as Kalland's replacement.

For Kershaw to surpass his father-in-law's longevity, he will need to coach until 2061. Given how long MIAC coaches stick around, it could be doable.
