All fan forums are insane: Tennessee fans mistakenly believed that the head official for the game on Saturday was a real estate agent from Tuscaloosa

Fans of the losing team are always looking for the conspiracy against their team. I have seen some Iowa fans float the idea that the Big Ten wanted the Gophers to win.....why, what possible motivation could the conference have to have their only ranked West team lose? If anything they would want Iowa to keep winning to give them something to hype for the title game. At this point they are looking at an unranked West team against a top 5 East team....gee....wonder how that is going to turn out :)

And even if he was a real estate agent, it's not very credible that he would have a conflict of interest. Officials have day jobs. Most people wouldn't even know that their real estate agent was a college football referee - unless angry fans targeted and doxxed him, which isn't on him.
