Second year in a row Alcorn cancelled. Should probably stop scheduling them

When they cancelled last time, it was COVID related. Not similar to this year's travel issues.

If I was looking for better basketball I’d be looking at other games before that. Personally.

They should just schedule NDSU or South Dakota State (didn’t mention UST due to backlash that would come with that comment). Get a regional opponent versus some trash team from Mississippi

Or even Northern Iowa

Ultimately for scheduling if we play in an exempt event we get 11 non con games. Ideally we play seven at home I'd like to see Game 1 be exempt opponent. Games two and three,Two of the Dakota schools, UST and another Summit school. Than Game 4 have a team like UNI/Drake, St. Louis, etc, or a Mountain West school Game 5 home and home with another high Major. Game Six. Schedule an HBCU. Game 7 find any old cup cake to tune up on before conference play. We should always play a high Major on the road as well. Some years mix in a fun neutral site game. As far as UST I'm pretty neutral on it, be good for the gate, hopefully will see it once they are post season eligible. Don't think this is an unreasonable schedule most years

Definitely this, "NoThInG tO GaIn FrOm PlAyInG UST", except a non conference game with at least 2,000 more tickets sold than normal.

I remember Augustana several years ago. Their fans were loud and obnoxious...but that still beats being in church (sorry, Holy Man).

easy to make Southwest Airlines jokes, but the current air travel problems go beyond Southwest.

check out the pictures from the Denver airport - piles of baggage and people sitting around. similar situation in Toronto, Orlando, etc. a lot of this is due to Southwest, but other airlines are also involved.

the Twin Cities Airport is reporting 35 cancellations today and 165 delays.

so, if the other team can't get here, they can't get here.

it's a payday for them - against a struggling team. they have no reason to cancel.
