PSU. Better program and have the ability to hire a top notch coach for big bucks that will give them a better shot.

They are a top 20 national program and probably the 3rd or 4th most recognizable program in the conference, with OSU, Michigan, and us.

I sincerely hope the "red" in your name refers to Nebraska and not Wisconsin. If so, I agree with your recognizable rankings. If not, you are extremely short-sighted.

I think that a BCS slot isn't realistic for us for 6 or 7 years. I base my estimate on recruiting expectations, the 2012 class isn't spectacular, next year will be better, but a lot of recruits will be looking at this years results and pass. I believe that the following class, will see the improvements in next years team, and be more willing look at us. Three years later, when that classes influence is felt, is when a BCS Bowl becomes realistic. If PSU hires a top notch coach it could be as soon as 4 yrs.

This is like two ships passing in the night - in different directions. One's moving up and one's moving down.

Nebraska - I think that Wisconsin #5 program in the conference. But they are better than us (or MN) this year.

I have to go PSU. That recruiting hotbed and being the football school of the Northeast might be able to overcome this scandal and any punishment that may result.
