Advice on possibly buying season tix for next year

Ssshh, don't tell anyone! ;)

LOL - my bad! We always get there so early I guess I'm not worried about the lot being full by the time we roll in - although I would hate for them to raise the price with increased demand.

I still can't believe more people haven't discovered that spot yet. It easily beats going to St. Paul or the West Bank then having to shuttle in. Plus it is CHEAPER, and the quick access to 35W via the ramp on the other side of Coffman means you're not stuck in traffic on 4th St. or Oak.

Stop by and introduce yourself next year. We usually park on the grass and have the Gopher Canope and bags going.

I'd echo the sun v shade decision. We are in 212 and its a tale of two season for us... The early games are actually too hot in the sun... i mean sweltering... The late games are much better as any peek of sun can still be felt in October and November.

At the end of the day, most seats in the stadium are good though.

My question is when do season tickets go on sale?

I think renewals go out in February or March and then they after that they will start divvying up the remaining seats in about May or June. It really depends on how renewals are going.

Our group bought our tickets on the sunnyside, specifically because it would be warmer, and it is.

But I wouldn't buy season tickets. You can buy them cheaper off the streets since no one goes. WE aren't getting ours this year since the ticket office offers them cheaper once the games get closer.

There is this option, but I would argue that if you can afford it you would be helping the athletic department MUCH more if you bought season tickets. Your season ticket purchase will give more revenue to the athletic department and make the tickets more high in demand.

BTW South Dakota's cheer squad was aweful...but we were rewarded with 4 USC song girls, which was very nice to see.

You are only 100 sections away from my seat (109). And you are correct in that South Dakota's 'cheer' squad was horrible. Good God, I thought for sure they'd try to graze on the turf when I first saw them. At least they didn't, like the Iowa cheerleaders did..
