Why would you be such an a$$hole to pull such a stunt. If you did, however, I would hope that he would then brutally maim and injure you, not kill you. maim and injure would remind you every day for a long time that you were an a$$hole.

It's gotta be tough for him to stay concentrated and study for finals knowing there's a chance (however small some may think it is) he could get drafted tomorrow. I know I would have a hard time trying to study.
 

After he mouthed "FU" to the student section during a game, I could care less what happens to the guy.

So a 20 year old young man, playing an emotional game, having heard boos and 50,000 people calling for the backup, after every game, for two years, by his own peers, mouthed the letters F and U, and he is chopped liver to you? I don't think I could've handled his last few years as well as he did given all the criticism. Could you Mr. high and mighty? Get over yourself and FU.
 


Boy, that would have been a good one. You're the funny guy at the office, aren't you? Bet you've got a busy Saturday planned, washing your "That's What She Said" coffee mug and ironing your Hawaiian shirt.
 

You dudes need to stop being such wet blankets. It wasn't the funniest joke ever, but some of you are clearly offended by it and wish him pain for thinking of it.

So then go care less about it, otherwise learn how to use the phrase correctly. Repeat after me, I couldn't care less. I couldn't care less. I COULDN'T care less.
 





WHAT student section??????

Those little dudes and dudettes in the student section are such "fwf,s" (fair weather fans) that usually they weren't even there for most of game time. Check 'em into rehab to control their binge drinking problems. What a bunch of panseys those student section people are. They are a bunch of "no shows" who really don't even deserve to be in the stadium at any point in time. Throw the student section under the bus!!!!! ; 0 ) Sell the tickets to people who will pay full price for the tickets. And, raise their tuition on your way out the door prexy b.

Now, take that student section defenders. Until the student section proves itself to be worth ANY kind of home field advantage to to Gopher Football Program...let them be polite little janes and joes and let them be thankful for the fact that they have a chance to get into games so cheaply and let them FINALLY start BACKING and SUPPORTING the Gophers. Otherwise, who the heck needs them????????? What a joke the student section has been to date.

Have you heard of the phrase "preaching to the choir"?

The people defending the student section on here aren't the empty bleacher seats at games. We are the ones at every game and dragging every one of our friends along that we can find. We are just as upset as you that Gopher games aren't bigger events/more popular, but there's no reason to rip on the people who DO go to the games.

wren, unlike coach Kill, doesn't know how to solve problems. He only knows how to babble so that what he does.
 

To act like "who needs the student section" is about as naive of a statement as could possibly be said. We all look for ways in which Becky and Iowa are different from us, one of the main reasons is game day atmosphere (also the ability to travel well to away games). Having a more significant student force at the game would help with recruiting, making the games more fun, and actually help create a real home field advantage.

Now, I have no idea if Weber really did mouth "FU" to the student section. But if he did, that is a gigantic problem. He was the face of the program (for better or worse) and they were struggling, so he should expect to get some grief from the fans.

Not to downplay this, but if you are dragging along all of your friends that you can find results in poor attendance in the student section, did it occur to anyone that you do not have many friends?

Well, Brew should have spared him the embarrassment of the last 2 years by pulling him and starting MG.
