50% of marriages these days lead to divorce......I'm wondering what the % is of kids backing out of their 100% commitments to colleges???? Probably getting closer every year.....I didn't feel great about this recruitment once uncle eddie told us PJ compared it to a marriage.
Hey, it's faaar easier to just make a snarky remark without thinking first. His three receivers were the best players on the field.
Reminds me of when Al Bundy was looking at his notice that his driver's license expired: "why can't a marriage license do that?"50% of marriages these days lead to divorce......
I am an observant Christian who will never win the piety sweepstakes and I totally agree with you here. I'm all for people expressing their faith in whatever way they feel appropriate, but it all gets a bit rich these days. To me, it's like the verse from Matthew that God takes note of every sparrow that falls. True, but I don't think God pushed the sparrow out of the nest. The sparrow fell on its own.The irony is God doesn't make decisions for people. The duality of free will and God is in control is an absolute mind bender, but that hasn't stopped people from engaging in this kind of circular reasoning before.
God must be too busy ensuring a 17 year old kid attends the right college for football and that is why He doesn't have time to intervene on more pressing things like wars, dictators and famine that have real life and death consequences for LOTS of people. But hey, throwing a perfect spiral 50 yards is super important, too <insert sarcasm>.
Yep, makes total sense.
I would guess the percentage that stay committed is probably still pretty high but I put very little stock in verbal commitments. It is interesting to look up their profiles and see who might be coming in but there is no reason to get very invested in the player.50% of marriages these days lead to divorce......I'm wondering what the % is of kids backing out of their 100% commitments to colleges???? Do you disagree? Providing, of course, you saw the full replay of that game.Hey, it's faaar easier to just make a snarky remark without thinking first.
-2 of them now…Between Athan, Knuth, and Philo this might be the most pure arm talent I’ve seen on the team assuming Philo sticks. Strictly judging by what they can do as passers, not sure I’ve seen better.
So I guess PJ should have gone after his receivers because it sounds like they are better than anyone currently in the receiving room. Maybe that pissed Philo off and told PJ see ya!His three receivers were the best players on the field.
He ain’t no AristotleIs it really necessary to take a shot at Fleck? Kids decommit all the time, I'm sure your golden boy Fickell has even had it happen to him.
New QB we seem to be after it Ethan Grunkemeyer out of Ohio, has offers from Indiana and Northwestern among others.
Ethan Grunkemeyer, Penn State Nittany Lions, Quarterback
Also plays basketball. Averaged 4.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg on the hardwood as a junior Carries a 3.85 GPA. ---- 2023: Led Olentangy to an 11-2 record and the...247sports.com

Sorry I misunderstood. Although I would take no offense at G7Natty's comment, having no idea how he meant it.I think you misunderstood my post. By "snarky remark without thinking first" I was referring to Gophers7NatTitlesBadgers0's comment that he made to you, which was "That's hilarious!"
They were all seniors and committed. So I guess PJ should have gone after his receivers because it sounds like they are better than anyone currently in the receiving room. Maybe that pissed Philo off and told PJ see ya!
In all seriousness, PJ wouldn't have offered Aaron if he didn't believe he could succeed at a P5 program that runs an RPO offense. They were all seniors and committed.
Better than Philo dough.Think his nickname is "the Grunk"?
But I didn’t list Viotto, we’ll be ok.-2 of them now…
I did not say or mean to imply Philo was not a great recruit or that he was a QB propped up by his receivers. He made throws to the corner of the end zone reminiscent of Tanner 2019 or the one to Jackson last December vs Cuze.In all seriousness, PJ wouldn't have offered Aaron if he didn't believe he could succeed at a P5 program that runs an RPO offense.
He isn't concerned that Aaron's receivers were propping up his recruiting status and is confident that his receivers are every bit as capable of helping Aaron succeed.
Hard to say if Philo will be great or not. But to be honest he might be too highly rated to come here and sit. It’ll be tough in this day and age to bring in a highly sought prospect with a young talent basically cemented into the spot for three years.I did not say or mean to imply Philo was not a great recruit or that he was a QB propped up by his receivers. Philo will be a great college QB for someone. I wish he had stayed with us but I understand his wanting to fasttrack.
I have no idea as to their status relative to the other players on the field for that game, as I haven't watched and never will, but to say that a WR corps on a HS team is better than a high major college WR corps is not only dumb, but also stupid.Do you disagree? Providing, of course, you saw the full replay of that game.
One can hopeThink his nickname is "the Grunk"?
Who said the WR corps on that high school team was better than a high major college WR corps?I have no idea as to their status relative to the other players on the field for that game, as I haven't watched and never will, but to say that a WR corps on a HS team is better than a high major college WR corps is not only dumb, but also stupid.
You did, right here:Who said the WR corps on that high school team was better than a high major college WR corps?
Did you see the film of his Georgia title game? A lot of schools might be concerned they will never be able to put receivers out there with him who are as good as his high school receivers.
Yep, looks like I did. Might have meant it a little bit in fun but you are right, dumb comment. You did, right here:
The bolded reminds me of someone. I can't quite put my finger on who. Wait a minute. Oh yeah, me.Yep, looks like I did. Might have meant it a little bit in fun but you are right, dumb comment.
However, you missed an incredible Georgie championship game. D1 recruits all over the field, both teams. Three D1 recruit receivers working with Philo.
And this was the Georgia smallest school championship.
