I finally got around to watching the "Bombay Beach" documentary last week. It was pretty cool to watch it knowing how well Cedric would turn out. The rest of the documentary is pretty depressing, but the parts featuring Cedric are really cool to watch knowing that things turn out well for him.
 

When Tony Dungy spoke of being uncommon, Cedric is a living breathing example.

Congrats to him and all his teammates who are graduating!

Kudos to the Gopher Football program for being not only a molder of good football players, but also of good outstanding young men.

This kid already won at life. This just warms my heart.
 

I was hoping the Vikings would draft him. They can sure use some safety help.

I think he will have a solid NFL career.

Not especially. Blanton isn't really that bad. Cornerback was the bigger need, and I don't think Cedric would start anyway. Definitely a place for him on a an NFL roster, though.
 

I'm so happy for him. He busted his butt to make his dreams come true. Nothing but the best of wishes for him.

Congratulations to Cedric Thompson. It is great to read about young men that understand the value of education and overall priorities. I wish him the very best.
