Don't forget to check flight prices from Milwaukee and/or Madison. You'd have to drive a lot farther to the airport but you could save hundreds of dollars. For instance, per kayak.com a Wed.-Sun. Minneapolis to Greensboro flight is $800, a Wed.-Sun. Milwaukee to Greensboro flight is $330.

I lived in that area for 3 years and almost never flew out of Greensboro airport. Raleigh-Durham is about 60 miles away and Charlotte is about 75. Both were usually much cheaper than Greensboro. That was a few years ago though so things may have changed.
