"Hey I Just want to say thank you to everyone who is showing me support."

Go Gophers!!

I know it's only a tweet but it's definitely an improvement over previous ones.

Go Gophers!!

Why did you post this one, but not the one about J-Strings? I know he has a large following on GH, and now we missed his performance on the 10th!

Thanks for the update - Royce, just keep working on getting your personal life together, listen to Tubby, and then worry about basketball. Once you do that, all of Gopher Nation will embrace you when you can show what you bring on the court!

I concur: a good sign.

Good luck Royce. Should you make it back you'll get a standing O from me (if I can get some scalped tickets). In Tubby we trust.

I probably don't fall into the category that showed him support, but a step toward the right direction.

Agreed. The best thing Royce can do for his future is to take the support and advice of Tubby, the past players, and anyone else offering positive input.

I wish the kid well.

:)

I don't want to rain the parade here because I want Royce to succeed as well .. How do we know it was from him talking about basketball? Maybe it was about W/B promotions and J Strings?

Just sayin'

If this is refering to Royce and basketball it sure would be a great success story. I'm pulling for him to get things straightened out and show everyone what he can do personally and on the court.

It's good to keep hearing positive things. I'm glad the stretch of oh no what did Royce do today had stopped. I still think it would be in his interest to apologize but I suppose he has time.

I hope we get some kind of update on his status soon. I'm getting anxious for his return.

I'm still outraged about the laptop issue. It has been two weeks since Myron reported that the City Atty's office gave the case back to police for "additional investigation." Sounds like there is no case.

I understand what you're going for here with the "great success story" stuff, but when the damage an individual overcomes is entirely self-inflicted, superlatives like "great" tend to make me chuckle. Especially in the case of an individual who is being given everything and takes it all for granted.

So you believe people should wallow in their self demise?

Good Luck Royce. Trust and learn from Tubby. Be patient. One year is a very short period of time when in consideration of the rest of your life and what you can do with it.

Maybe the case of the missing laptop has been solved and Royce is no longer public enemy number one. It might be a good thing for him to have sat out this season. Next year he comes in and lights the world on fire.

LOL. I wish you could have phrased that differently!

A great success story. Ha. Give a kid everything, let him piss it away, he "tweets" something that isn't moronic and suddenly we're looking at a success story. So soft.

We're happy for you Royce, I want you on this team. But what have you overcome to make this a potential success story?(besides your posse)

I agree wholeheartedly. As I said a few weeks back when Jingo or Jimbo or Bobcat or whichever idiot posse member wrote on this message board that he was taking over speaking for Royce: Shut up. Just shut up, stop telling us things, stop making horrible ameteur videos. Stop telling us you appreciate us. Stop saying anything. The best way for you to win back the fans - and much more importantly, the head coach - is to shut up and fly straight. Get your act together, Royce, and grow up.

I'll believe it when I see it. And I really want to see it. Because I think you could make our team great. But if you want to be Kris Humphries or Rick Rickert or some other ball hog, whiner, me-first moron - then keep moving.

By the way, I really appreciate how this year's team has not made excuses for the missing players and are doing quite well right now. I love rooting for a team like that.

Go Gophers!

Bleed only posts about G-Strings, GL.

Just to clarify for you Skitch and GJ - No, I do not believe that a single twitter posting is going to redeem Royce White. I believe I've been fairly consistent in that I would like to see him get his life turned around and going in the right direction. If Tubby and some of the former Gophers are able to do that I believe it will be a great success story.
