Looks like a full house. Much better crowd than the past two years

They crashed the website for tickets in about the 1st 10 minutes. Game sold out I believe.

I am watching on the computer. There is no play-by-play. Just game sounds. Weird

Arkansas's starting LT is 6-10, 326. Did not know players bigger than Jonah Pirsig existed. Starting LG is 6-5, 350 as well.

Hard to believe Arkansas vs Texas would be a bigger draw for the Texas Bowl than Minnesota vs Syracuse.

The game is also in a much better time slot.
Last year it was 5pm local on a Friday night. This year it takes over Monday Night Football's spot.

Houston just has a lot more appeal to these two states that are a short road trip away. And they are former conference rivals.

Texas vs Arkansas in Houston = sellout. every time

Everyone there drove.

The drive from the University of Arkansas to Houston is about nine hours, about 3 hours less than the drive from Minneapolis to Nashville if you want to talk about loyal fans driving to the game. We Minnesota fans apparently cannot drive as well as Arkansas fans, based upon Music City Bowl attendance.

Then again that extra 3 hours probably would make it hard to leave early to get home by 10PM for the all important WCCO news report.

Not quite.

Fayetteville to Houston: 570 miles

Minneapolis to Nashville: 880 miles

Yes, because the vast majority of Arkansas alumni live in Fayetteville and not Little Rock (6.75 hrs), New Orleans (5 hrs), Dallas (3.5 hrs), or even Houston itself, right?

Again, there is no reason facts should impact a point someone is trying to make.
