A huge concern

This should probably go in an OL thread (sorry).

Does anyone feel like Carroll spending the spring and fall camp (right?) at RG instead of RT, has cost him now that he's back at RT? Or not really? Was it a mistake, in hindsight?

Not saying he's the sole reason for anything, at all. There are other guys and other factors, I'm sure.
 

Granted, we've played Iowa (second best in rushing defense) and Michigan (third best in rushing defense).

We need to get the run game going.


One could argue that they are two of the best rush defense teams because they played the Gophers.
 

The root problem is needing better players. Fixing the root cause of the poor OL play is to put better players on the field. That is not going to happen this year. Going up tempo is not a bandaid, it's a strategy.
