Per Greder:

Medved shared what he expects from his first squad, harkening to what he did at Colorado State. Last March, the Rams came within a buzzer-beater against Maryland from making the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.

“They played an unselfish brand,” Medved said on BTN. “You look at our teams across the board, they’ve always been among the leaders in the country in assists to field goals made. We’ve also been among the leaders in two-point field goal percentage, even though we haven’t been big. I think we cut well, we move it well, we put a lot of pressure on the paint."

Go Gophers!!

I remember Clem’s second game—at Houston, IIRC. Although we lost, we scored about 40 points in the first with great ball movement and screens. It was a revelation after the offensive stagnation of the latter Dutcher years. Hoping Niko’s coaching sends the same jolt of energy through the program.
This is why I come here. This and Slab and bleeds posts.

Similar to what Danny Hurley did at Uconn. Uconn definitely had some talent, but what seperated them from the other talented teams, were how exact their screen game was. Which includes the physicality of the screener, but also how the dribbler pressed to the basket forcing help and leaving shooters open. They also cut super well. These details enabled back to back championships and Uconn proved it mattered to an extant we hadn't seen in years.
