I don’t think Prime’s going anywhere for a while. Sorry that this disappoints some on here😢. I think he wants to silence all his detractors by ALSO winning without his kids😃

5-Star QB Julian Lewis Posts Four-Word Message After Committing To Colorado

On Monday, one of the top quarterback prospects in the class of 2025, Julian Lewis, decommitted from the USC Trojans after a longtime pledge to the program. Now, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound star out of Carrollton High School in Georgia has made a new decision on where he will be playing college ball.

On Thursday afternoon, Lewis joined ESPN's "The Pat McAfee Show" to announce his next career move, committing to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes live on air.

With the Buffaloes' current quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, heading to the 2025 NFL draft, many expect Lewis to fill his shoes immediately.

Following his decision to join Coach Prime in Boulder, Lewis took to social media to leave a four-word post regarding his new commitment. The post also included a hype video about his announcement, with Shedeur Sanders handing over the hypothetical keys to the team.

"It’s definitely perfect timing!" Lewis wrote on X.

Lewis received tons of offers from other major college footballprograms, including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and Ohio State, but ultimately elected to join Colorado.

Bears will need a coach next year...

So will the Cowboys. I think he wants to his mark at CU first, so the critics can’t say, you only did it with your kids, blah blah blah.

I’m sure he’ll coach in the NFL someday, but I’d be surprised if it’s next year🤷‍♂️

The players can all go with him, so he will leave if the price is right.

I think that he should strike while iron is hot
If we wins a big 12 title at Colorado I would say he pretty much left his mark

While that may be your definition of “making a mark” and likely would be for many, that may not be his goal/endgame .

Looking at the stats how did they win 8 games? One of the more interesting ones is the the rushing yards. They could conceivably set a historic low on the year. The pirate would be proud.

Travis is a special player, no doubt.

They have improved and the other teams were vastly overrated, as well.

Okie State was a pre-season Top 25 team and is 0-7!in conference play. Utah, the prohibitive favorite to win the conference is 1-6 in conference play, after losing their starting QB, Cam Rising. No clue on OSU injury situation.

I’m guessing this will likely improve as he gets better OL and backs; their DL is light years better than last season, as they’re six in FBS in sacks.

I’m thinking he wanted to highlight Sheddeur somewhat, as well. Most dads would and it has worked because they’re receiving core is likely as good as anyone’s.

He’s fun and exhausting to watch😃

The BigXII is a pile of crappy teams.
This times 1000.....the move to Texas/Oklahoma less Big 12 was a great one for Colorado. I mean everyone could see that Sanders has been putting together an impressive group of athletes but that group of mercenaries struggled when they had to play good teams every week.

Move to the Crap 12 has allowed them to play teams they can out talent. If they somehow sneak into the playoff as the Big 12 champ they will get demolished.

Depends on the matchup, from my perspective.

Would think Lincoln Riley is gonna be on the hot seat.to flip from USC to Colorado. USC has the money to back, prestige, and recruiting hotbed to not be this bad.

I think if USC finds the right coach, they could be back to the 2000s squad dominance quickly

5 of their 6 conference wins have come against teams that are below .500 overall. Their best win is against Baylor, a 6-4 team. There are 4 teams in the conference ranked, Colorado being one of them. They don't play the other 3 teams.

You can't control how good or bad your conference opponents are but the Big 12 is not good and they have a very favorable schedule.

Kansas is playing well so that might be a struggle this Saturday.

He’s got plenty of cash; he’s worth a purported $45M and his current deal is worth $29M/5 years, excluding bonuses, with an $8M buyout this season if he leaves - per the link below. When you have enough cash, the fit where you work becomes the most important factor in my experience (if you’re competitively compensated); you can’t put a price tag on not having to manage up.

Going for three Top 20 wins in a row, needs the win to still have an opportunity to go 🎳 and us s home game for the Jayhawks. Buffs favored by three.

Might be the best game of the day, after our upset of PSU🥳

Wow

Colorado’s 2025 recruiting class gained Thanksgiving pledges from EDGE London Merritt, offensive tackle Carde Smith, defensive lineman Alexander McPherson and wide receiver Quentin Gibson (h/t Hayes Fawcett of On3). With 15 commitments, including five four-star prospects, Coach Prime’s 2025 class now ranks second in the Big 12 Conference and No. 32 nationally, according to 247Sports.
