4 star recruits

I saw on ESPN that we have quite a few outstanding offers to big 4 star recruits (Bryant, Treadwell, Mayes, Munger, etc.)

Is there a chance that we will come close to landing any of them or did we offer just to offer?

Connor Mayes. His older brother Alex Mayes is a commit to us. He's been on campus a couple times already with his family & really likes Coach Kill & the city. He was in this past weekend & will likely be back again when Alex comes up on his "official" during December. He's getting major "helmet school" interest but has us listed as #1 for now.

Just realized Alex Mayes wasn't even on his official visit when he came up. This is, what, his third or fourth time here already? That is a dedicated kid. Glad we got him.

I saw the two Mayes brothers at the game this weekend, Alex is one of the largest high schoolers I have ever seen. That is until I saw his brother Connor. Wow, these young men are already physical beasts. I am 6'4'' and 240 pounds and they made me feel tiny when I was next to them. I hope they stick with MN.
