His team actually was 7-9 in conference play in the year they won the Big East tournament to get the automatic bid in the NCAA tournament. That was the year after the NCAA tournament was cancelled but COVID was still going strong and many teams played a reduced schedule.

His 2-18 conference year was his last season there. That was better than his 0-19 conference season the year before. His successor's first conference season produced the same result as Ewing's final conference season: 2-18. He's doing significantly better this year.

Would it though? You seem convinced we have less, but I’m not sure that’s the truth. I also have no way to confirm either direction on the pay curve. I suspect we are some where near the middle though. We are haters because the results suck and we want a new direction. I don’t hate Ben, I just think he’s been given a chance and the results are less than stellar.

Based on NIL I’m sure we’re bottom 3. Now next year with revenue sharing and a base salary, we’ll see how that affects the roster.
