3 Potential Landing Spots for Notre Dame Quarterback Steve Angeli (2. Minnesota or Purdue)

Very few teams being able to stock their QB room is very good for college football parity. QB is the most important position and almost all the best ones are playing, not waiting their turn. It also means most teams are one starting QB injury away from possibly falling off a cliff. That's scary for the Gophers and just about everyone else. Again, that should add parity. Even some of the best teams will go from stud starter to dud backup in the blink of an eye. I don't remember QB injuries being a very visible issue last year in P4. Were we just lucky?
Imo it’s going to hurt QB development in the long run. Get used to a nfl Qb class like 2025

I think it’s a two edged sword. While QBs changing schools often, they may not be in a system long enough to master it and show their true potential. However, by changing schools they may be exposed to different systems and show they can adapt and thrive anywhere.

Another positive for NFL teams is the current college ‘free agency’ helps define the pecking order. Zack Pyron is a good example. He wasn’t going to start at Georgia Tech, nor Minnesota, and now he’s trying to start at South Alabama. Right now, his NFL value is diminished. I think he has two years left, so he’ll probably try and transfer up after this season.
