Hi everyone!

I think many of you know that I am involved with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and held a tailgate to fundraise for it last year and we made $2000. My friend, Angelina, is going to run for Woman of the Year this year, and she is continuing on the tradition.

For those of you who came last year, we put on quite a spread:
- Burger bar with all the toppings
- Hot dips and chips
- Deep friend onion rings and cheese curds
- Original Gravity Beer and much more, all for $30 an adult (if paid in advance) - plus it's tax deductible.

It was a good time to had, the band, Goldy, and Eric Decker and Jessie James even stopped by. I can't promise that Decker will be there again, but Goldy has committed to making an appearance!

I'll be there with wife, uncle and another +1 in tow. Last year was fun, GREAT food spread (food alone was worth it).. and Nadine 'outted' my wife to Goldy (told him that my wife has a crush on him.. Embarrassed both a good bit).

Was a blast and looking forward to hopefully meeting more of you guys there this year.

Definitely sore that I couldn't make it last year, and can't make in in 2013 either.

GL - is there somewhere I could make a donation to theLeukemia Lymphoma Society directly thru your group? Great cause, and I've donated to it in the past at times. I just want it rolled up in your total. You know, good Gopher fan PR, and such! I don't do Facebook, so is there an alternate link/site?

Nadine - Is there any chance that Gopherhole will ever sell t-shirts? I think many Gopherholers would buy a few and it would be a great way to advertise Gopherhole to the public. Maroon with Gold writing...heck I would wear those to Gopher football games.

T-shirts are a tough thing, they're something that everyone claims they'll buy, and when you actually get them, people don't follow through. If there was a huge demand, I don't see any reason why we couldn't get some, but there would have to be some solid demand.

Angelina was just amazed that a complete stranger to her gave such a generous donation...and isn't even coming to the tailgate. Thank you so much! That was very kind of you, and will not forget that. Good Gopher fan, even better guy you are!

Hey, no problem at all. I've wanted to get up to the Spring game and tailgate so I could schmooze with you Gopher glitterati for the 2nd year now. My wife's father died of lymphoma, so we usually donate to LLS every year anyway. I like that it could help a fellow Gopher fan, so it was a no-brainer. I'll make better plans in spring for 2014 so we can make it then.

I encourage as many of you Gopher fans in the area to donate and get to this tailgate!

Come on GHers, it would be a lot more expensive to host your own tailgate (I know, we spend a ton every week!) - so sign up, come by, and it's all tax deductible going to a great cause! :)

Really good. Not sure how much food was left over, but my group ate a TON. Also, not only did Coach Kill drop by, but Norwood Teague did as well. NBD.

Like Formo said, it was great! We made almost $2000 for LLS. Wished more GopherHolers would have come...but thank you so much to Diddy, Wren, Formo, Newman (Fomerly PullmanGopher), and many others for coming out!

It was so much fun, and we raised money for a great cause. We fed an army, and still had about 25 burgers left!
