I say 7-5 with losses to Indiana, Iowa,
Ichigan, Penn State, and Washington
PJ has got to beat Iowa convincingly some year. The game shouldn't be an automatic loss. I think 2026 is the year that PJ somehow transcends the debilitating psychological hex that the old Iowa coot has on him, and that PJ finally game plans and coaches the Gophers to an aggressive, convincing, never-in-doubt, Cignetti-esque style win. One can always hope, right?I say 7-5 with losses to Indiana, Iowa,Ichigan, Penn State, and Washington
isn't crazy that 5 years ago, we would be worried one day about getting blown out by Indiana?Must win the first 3 along with UCLA, Wisconsin, Purdue. Must win 2/3 with Northwestern, Michigan, & Penn St.. Snag one of the three out of Indiana, Washington, or Iowa. Most likely win the first 3 along with Wisconsin and UCLA. Probably lose to Purdue. Honestly, we probably find a way to win against Penn St. and Michigan but lose to Northwestern in a retarded way. We lose to Indiana bad and Washington easily. Iowa will be close with a new Fleck game plan and gets the Ferentz monkey off his back but gets the Northwestern one in return with Braun bear on him instead. 8-4 and a bowl win in New York or possibly Alamo Bowl?

A little
But more simply because we are going to play them.
We never play them.
We have only played 3 times since 2009
Since 1987 the gophers are trailing in the series 11-10 (and the gophers have beaten them 6 of the last 7 times…)
There are some non conference teams that have been in pretty sure!I have had 2 runs as a season ticket holder. First started 1986 - 1990, 5 seasons which started while I was still in HS. I saw the Hoosiers 3 times during that span ('86, '87 & '90) at the HHH Dome.
My second stint started in 1999 to current so, 27 seasons (including 2020). Indiana has been to Minneapolis 5 times during that stretch, 4 at the HHH Dome ('99, '03, '06 & '08) and once more at The Bank ('18).
Crazy, 22 more seasons in my encore but only 2 more Gopher-Hoosier games than the first go around.
Rutgers, Maryland & even USC have been to TCF Bank Stadium more often than Indiana.
IIRC the Seattle Alumni association is one of the larger alumni associations of the U (but maybe I'm remembering wrong, lol), so hopefully there is a large Gopher contingent there!I hope to see as many Gophers at the Washington game as I saw in Eugene this year. Living in the PNW, I am glad to actually have opportunities to see the Gophers without having to be the one doing the traveling.
Off the top of my head, Miami (OH), New Mexico St & San Jose St for sure. There are some non conference teams that have been in pretty sure!
I will die on the hill that the big ten west helped Minnesota but not as much as people think.Off the top of my head, Miami (OH), New Mexico St & San Jose St for sure.
One other comparison, I have seen Nebraska come to Minneapolis as a Big 10 opponent just as many times (8) as Indiana, and they did not join until 2011 (less than 50% of my combined tenure).
They also were at the HHH Dome in 1989 while still in the Big 8, so I have seen the Huskers once more than the Hoosiers.
