has anyone seen a release date projection?
Last year I feel they released 2025 in december

I’m not talking opponents I’m talking dates.

I’m still surprised Miss St isn’t the opening Thursday game. Those have always been fun when we play a power conference opponent.
Think we are at Miss St next year, then they come here the following year. Nope I'm wrong Miss State at home 09_12 then return date is 2027 in Starksville.

Weekend Dates. Only one bye week next year.

Sept 3 Thursday Eastern Illinois (FCS)
Sept 12 Mississippi State
Sept 19 Akron
Sept. 26
Oct. 3
Oct. 10
Oct. 17 (MEA Weekend)
Oct. 24
Oct. 31 Halloween
Nov. 7
Nov. 14
Nov. 21
Nov. 27/28 Thanksgiving

MSU has had ULM on the 5th for a while. They also had no desire to open on the road.

They play Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern and UCLA at home. They play Indiana, Penn State, Purdue, Washington and Wisconsin on the road.

All, go to Gophersports.com and use drop down box, 2026 and click on 2026 big ten opponents, lower left hand corner of page.

Agreed glad we get a creampuff to warm up against
I'm all for a non-conf game against a power 4 team but hate when it falls on week 1. Can't stand when the conference puts a conference game in week 1.

Glad we will have a tune up game before playing Miss State next season.

That’s the one game a year I can guaranteed not attend so I’m glad it’s week 2!

If we are going to play an FCS game I like week 1.
Just because if we come out flat we probably win anyways
