2026 Schedule: Quick Thoughts.

Feel like Campbell's teams usually start fast and fade in November. It always seems they ranked in September and finish the year on a losing streak
Iowa state is Maryland on steroids

I don’t follow Iowa state outside of the scores. Usually watch a game or two per year. But I have to think Penn state as a draw and with their bank will help him have better depth than he had at Iowa state

My guess is we get no love and the national consensus is 5 wins. This year I am not as optimistic with the M&G chances. In another thread I way-to-earlied them with 7-5... I'm leaning to 6-6 now.

Oh, my other hot-take....Nebraska will be pre-season top-25.. remember you read it here first!

This is a tough schedule. We were gifted an easy one last year and this is a sort of "no weeks off" setup this year.

Pre-season Heisman for whomever the Nebraska QB is for sure ;)

Big Ten schedule will never be easy but on paper this looks like a pretty favorable schedule. As others have said, it is a shame that Penn State isn't a little earlier in the schedule.

Like having a bye week before Iowa and only one West Coast trip. Also like starting with a weak team before Mississippi State comes to town.

Will be interesting to see how all the teams look as the season gets going but all told this looks like a pretty favorable schedule potentially.

I wonder if Michigan will be the Homecoming game or Akron.
