2026 Recruiting

Vienna Murray from East Ridge has apparently had quite a summer. She is reporting offers, all this summer, from:

Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Northwestern, TCU, Florida, Oregon, Kansas, Colorado, Texas A&M, North Carolina, Utah and Fairfield.

Will be interesting to see if the Gophers jump in.

Edit: Jr All Star now ranks her # 39 nationally, ahead of Tori Oehrlein (# 51) (not vouching for the ranking, just found it interesting).

Just a note... MN State rankings has Tori #2 in the class and Vienna #3. Typically the in-state rankings are closer to actual rankings due to them being able to see the players more often throughout their career. I would say 1 and 2 are solidly Maddyn and Tori. I would say 3 would be a tie between Cail Jahnke and Vienna for the class.
 

How about Mya Moore? She actually got moved up to the 17s over Cail.
 







Didn't think it would happen; but, of course Gophers not in Greenway top 6. Will probably end up at a BIG school then get to watch her destroy us for four years lol

Iowa and UCLA are only B1G schools on her list of 6

Duke seemed to be the leader until they got a commitment from Emilee Skinner in the ‘25 class, an even higher ranked ball dominant guard. Will be interesting to see if that changes things. Being the replacement to Georgia Amoore at Kentucky seems like a real possibility. Hard to tell if Iowa is really still in it.
 

Tori would be a huge recruit for the you. Sounds like a Coach P dream with hard work ethic for both offense and defense! Seems as if Tori could do similar to what McKenna Johnson did and enroll beginning of January and take part on the team.
 






Wouldn't be shocked to see her head to Utah. Nice area, Coach Lynne Roberts is a great coach to play for and there's already a couple of Minnesota natives on the team, so there's a little hometown type connection there.

Hope we get her. Would hate to lose her to Michigan, but I know Lynne and Utah would also be a nice place to play. Guess part of it depends on how badly she wants to stay close to home.
 

Oh man I hope Tori stays home. I’m hoping she sees that she can be a star here! I honestly feel bad for her a bit. She is just as good as the other one and has a better college frame to play with, but does not get near enough attention.
 

I have a lot of hope that Tori will stay close to home. She just seems more dedicated to Minnesota than some of the other 2026s. In AAU she did stay playing for Dre Jefferson and the Minnesota Suns when everyone thought she'd jump ship to a shoe team, so there's that.
 

This is one I am really hoping Coach P can land. As mentioned before, seems like she would fit really well with Coach P as an excellent student that works hard on both ends of the floor. Hopefully Mara and Amaya can help with luring another MN recruit to stay here!

If you're familiar with Trilly Donovan on Twitter/X or Discord, they started an account for women's basketball last year. Has insider information, but I'm not sure who the person is. They stay anonymous. Not sure who their sources are either but their leaks are always accurate.

I just realized what you were talking about here. I assumed you were talking about the Tori who's, you know, actually on the team and that I had missed a McKinney injury or something. A good reminder that first names are not super-helpful on their own, especially when there's more than one player with the name.
 

It's gotta be Tori Oehrlein, who is supposed to announce her choice today. Or much, much less likely, 2025 recruit Kaelyn Carroll.

Sorry for the confusion. I thought it was more clear having it in this thread on 2026 recruiting. But I realize that is not the case.
