Very happy for guys like Hart and especially Marner.

I said it before the playoffs and multiple times previously; the only thing that matters is who is playing well by about April 1st and beyond. Nobody cares if you're good in December and January. Vegas has always understood that this is an endurance race, not a sprint, everything is building towards April

Impossible to overstate the return of William Karlsson in Round 2, who hadn't played since November 8th. Just an incredibly underrated player, one of the original Misfits, does so much for Vegas.

As we always see in the postseason, health is everything. Vegas is healthy, for the most part (still missing Lauzon on D, but a 3rd pairing D-man); several guys are dinged up, but healthy for the most part and in the lineup.

not to mention the timing of it. him being out allowed them to pick up rasmus andersson, smith, dowd, and pull Hart off LTIR because they had plenty of cap to do so
 




Canes up 3-0 in first. Last 2 times the Wild and Avs did that they lost. Highly doubt that happens with the offense of Montreal

Vegas-Carolina is going to be an incredibly boring series

They are just a miserable watch right now.

Boring? I don't know what the ratings will be with neither being a major market but for hockey fans, it sure looks like the two best teams in the NHL are going to be playing for Lord Stanley's Cup. I may not watch every minute of every game but I'll be watching!

Boring hockey can be winning hockey. Ask Mankato, Wisconsin, etc.

Two locations where the majority of people can't even spell hockey let alone know the game.
I am now in full baseball mode with a bit of Lynx basketball on the side.
Until northern teams win the cup, hockey is of no concern to me.
 

Baseball is no concern to me until the southern teams win. Fans in the north probably can't even spell baseball

Another worthless Stanley Cup finals that isn't worth watching. No teams from Canada or the North. Just a team from the swamp and another from the desert. Hello baseball.
 

Thank you Canes for eliminating Montreal. Last 3 games were brutal to watch. Should be a good Cup final. Going with Canes in 7
