2026 First Round Playoffs Thread: Minnesota vs Denver

Ummmmmmmm

By the way, if you have to foul them on every 3 point shot, hit them hard enough so they aren't making them, too.
The first quarter was an exercise in stupidity. But man did they punch back hard.

What a great 4th quarter!!!!

What a win!!

HOWL!!!!!!

Yes, they did.

Sometimes I forget how wide open the middle is against these guys.

I wish the next game was Wednesday and not Thursday. Denver had no legs in the 4th. Wear them down.

Not sure the point of saying this:

In an era of the NBA where all these guys are buddy/buddy, hugging and swapping jerseys after games, it's refreshing to see good, old-fashioned hatred making a comeback.
I don't get the point of poking the bear.

The whole bulletin board material narrative is ridiculous, especially in the playoffs. I highly doubt while Denver was on their flight to Minnesota they discussed how they're now going to try extra hard on defense because a player on the other team said they're not good at it.

I will give Randle credit for playing both ways last night. He was the difference Imo.

I will guarantee you that if the nuggets called out ant, randle, and others on defense......they'd play the game of their life on defense. Ant and Randle specifically.

That randle can take you to a championship. Play hard on D, not driving thru 3 defenders, and catch and shoot 3s, no step backs

Boston in trouble and Wemby went to the locker room after banging his face on the floor.

Have to disagree. One thing that never changes is teams looking for psychological motivation and any form of competitive advantage, real or imagined, trivial or non trivial. I wouldn't be surprised if the first time one of the wolves goes down the lane Thursday night he gets knocked on his ass. If it happens and it's Jaden or Rudy, I hope they don't overreact and get tossed.

The only thing that has been consistent about the team this year is its inconsistency. I hope they don't come out flat on Thursday.

McDaniels shoved Denver's star player in the back in game 1. If they were going to "get him", it would have happened on Monday.

It could be any one of the wolves. I used Jaden and Rudy as examples because they are the least likely to walk away.
