Bubz Alvarez (SDSU) on the free agent market. Two years of eligibility.

Summit League Sixth Man of the Year going portaling. Significant one.

Not real worried he’ll leave. Just don’t want to lose his shooting. Find a big in the portal who can do grunt-work, rebound, rim protect, stuff to complement him.

I talked to JT about this out in Portland and basically got the answer I expected. With the system we run, bringing in a big bruiser (there was a guy on Northern Colorado I pointed out, that out muscled us a bit) would not flow well.

And a guy with that set who has the athleticism to run and fit our system goes for $$$$.

I think we get used to 6'7" bigs in the mold of Parker B, Brooks, A, or IJA. Bjerke is the exception as a 6'9" deep shooter.

Any word on Momcilovic? Has some size & build. Hoping he’s a guy that can contribute immediately next season.
