2025 Transfer Portal Watch

I don't think there are any elite 5s left (unless some enter in the remaining time) but there are some who show promise and could be good.
just target some other team's 5 and woo him to minnesota. yes, poach. don't know if you'd get a top 50 center, but maybe a top 100

Correction. He redshirted during Covid (20/21). Then played 3 games the next year and transferred to Illinois (21/22). Played 2 years at Illinois (22/23 and 23/24) and then one at Memphis (24/25). Would be a homerun if he is granted an extra year of eligibility and came here (I doubt he comes here).
No Thanks. He is a "me" guy. We don't need any players like that.

We didn’t want Freitag? Of all the badgers laughing at the first mn wi blowout he was laughing the loudest. Just stupid how the u has run men’s bball the last 30 years.
Always interesting on these as he was lightly used and transferred down. Hard to make a lateral or lower move when you didn’t see the floor. One solid year and he’ll be portaling back up.

I personally want good basketball players, he'll have 1 year of eligibility, he'd be a homerun. He's a great post.
Well, Niko saw him go off for 22 points and 12 boards in CSU's win vs Memphis in the NCAA Tournament, so we will see if he wants him, or veiws the intangibles as not worth it.

Agree 100%.. drop down and try to reinvent .. BIG drop here.. #339 in KenPom.. Buffalo worked for Curtis Jones so you never know

I don't think so...he only played 3 games for Baylor his freshman year, should have another year of clear eligibility?
He had already redshirt the previous year. But that was covid. In my opinion he should be eligible to redshirt both years. My opinion doesn't matter but seems like he could potentially apply for a separate waiver to play other than just the 5th year of eligibility.

Why the hell would we want him? He played a grand total of 29 minutes as a freshman and was 1 for 11 from the field in those garbage time minutes. Apparently, no other comparable program wanted him either because he transferred down to Buffalo (#339 on Pomeroy). Meanwhile, fellow freshman Jack Janicki of White Bear Lake who walked on for Wisconsin played 421 minutes and appeared in all 37 games.

If you're concerned about Wisconsin players laughing at us, you need to spend less time on this board and diversify your interests.
